Established in 1961, Aygaz is an energy company under the umbrella of the Koç Group. Leader of the Liquefied Petroleum Gas industry of Turkey since its establishment, alongside the supply, storage, filling, distribution, sales and after-sales services of LPG, Aygaz manufactures pressure vessels and its accessories and appliances, to meet its own needs and to supply domestic and foreign markets.
Aygaz is the ninth-largest industrial establishment in Turkey, and provides services at a total of 1,939 locations in all 81 provinces of Turkey. 1,342 of these locations are cylinder gas dealers and 597 auto gas stations.
Turkey’s total LPG storage capacity is 600 thousand cubic metres, of which 170 thousand cubic meters belong to Aygaz. With storage volume at its five sea terminals and seven filling facilities, the Aygaz Group holds the largest storage capacity in Turkey. The sea terminals are located in Yarimca, Ambarli, Aliaga, Dörtyol, and Samsun, while the filling facilities are in Bursa, Eskisehir, Safranbolu, Isikkent, Isparta, Diyarbakir, and Kirikkale.

Pipelines and vessels from domestic refineries and imports deliver LPG to sea terminals, where it is transported to filling facilities by the tank truck fleet. LPG stored in sea terminals and cylinder-filling facilities is then offered to the consumer as auto gas, bulk gas and cylinder gas all across Turkey.
The first company in Turkey with an LPG maritime fleet, Aygaz uses four high-capacity, specially equipped LPG vessels for imports and provides an important part of the LPG supply from the sea terminals. In addition, with its modern tank truck fleet of around 250 vehicles, Aygaz also realizes bulk gas and auto gas sales and LPG transportation among different facilities.
The Aygaz cylinders, tanks, valves, and hoods, as well as comfort equipment, are produced with state-of-the-art technology at the Gebze Plant, with ISO 9001:2000 Quality Certification. After being tested for reliability and quality as required by international standards, Aygaz exports these products to about 20 countries in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, South America, and the Far East.
