Autogas is more eco-friendly than other motor fuels. It is therefore promoted by many governments, as well as the United Nations. Because autogas is a low-carbon fuel, it delivers much better results than its alternatives in terms of CO2 emissions, which are considered the most important cause of global warming. Due to the approximately 4.5 million LPG-fueled vehicles in Turkey, CO2 emissions have been reduced by more than 1 million tons. Autogas is by far the best fuel alternative with nearly zero carbon emissions. In addition, LPG reduces emissions of particles that affect human health negatively as well as harmful gases such as NO and acetaldehyde, butadiene, etc.
